Heated Travel Blankets Keep An Elderly Loved One Warm When, Baby, It’s COLD Outside!

I rarely took Mom out in cold weather if I could help it. But, things came up, like doctor appointments. So, on the few times when I had no choice but to hit the roads in cold weather, I’d warm up the car, plug her heated car blanket into the lighter and get it warm and toasty for her.

And, since she was warm under the electric blanket, I didn’t broil while driving her around (my comfort was important too, you know). For warmer days, I would just bundle the blanket around her and leave it off – it was the perfect way to keep Mom comfortable while riding in my convertible.

Heated travel blankets are a very nice gift for the elderly. These heated travel blankets run on 12-volt so they plug right into any cigarette lighter. They’re also fairly inexpensive so why not put one under the Christmas tree or in a stocking stuffer for a favorite senior citizen?
