Arthritis Bras And Other Front Hook Bras Can Make Dressing Less Of A Chore For A Senior Citizen

One of the problems my Mom had as she aged was worsening arthritis in her hands and arms; it was virtually impossible for her to hook her own bra until I found front hook bras. Previous to my find, Mom would wrap her bra around her, upside down and backwards (so the hooks were in front), hook the thing, and then wrestle it around in order to put it on. This experience alone could exhaust her!

Since I tried to find items to help Mom remain as independent for as long as possible (even though I was here to hook her bra…), I found some nice front hook bras which she just loved.

The bras close in front with a strip of velcro making them very easy to put on even for those with arthritis. Don’t underestimate the importance of your senior citizen woman friend being able to put on and take off her own bra.

Sleeping Bras

Here’s some nice sleeping bras also. My Mom was fairly large in the bust area (Dad was a happy man….) so a sleeping bra kept her more comfortable at night. She’d wear these around the house too; they offered just the right amount of support.
