Robes With Pockets In Front Make Life Just A Little Easier For Your Senior Citizen Friend

Robes with pockets in front are a necessary clothing item when when dealing with the elderly as you can bet that you’ll also be dealing with tissues that go in those pockets! Lots and lots of tissues!

I bought my Mom a few robes with what would become design flaws – these robes had pockets in the sides. When Mom was sitting down, she was always fighting to get into those pockets. And, Mom sat down a lot….

So, off I went to find robes with pockets in front. I found a few at my local Kohl’s but most of them had button fronts and those were hard for Mom to don by herself. A zippered robe or a robe with a belt was much more to her liking.

Here’s a few of the same types of robes I used to buy Mom. I got her chenille robes for winter and light cotton robes for summer. You can bet though that every single robe had pockets in the front!

Short(ish) Robes With Front Pockets

Mom preferred the shorter robes for spring and summer here in Maryland. But, when the nights turned cold, she stowed the short robes and selected a longer one (see further below).
