Everyone should have a valentine – that includes your great grandmother or any other senior citizen in your life. Valentine’s Day is a great time to reach out and let your favorite senior citizen know you love her or him.

When my Mom lived with me, I always made sure that I surprised her on Valentine’s Day with a new set of Valentine bedding.

Sometimes, the bedding was pillowcases, sometimes sheets or, every other year, a new light weight comforter (note: heavy comforters may be difficult for a senior citizen to move around under). It was just my thing.
