Old Time Gift Baskets

We had an old time candy store open up near my house. I wandered across it one day and came home with a whole lot of candy from the 1920’s – the years when Mom was a teenager. My own senior citizen was totally delighted to see some of the treats she remember so well. She feasted on old time caramels, chocolate straws, and the like.

Valentine’s Day is synonymous with candy, but, why not go one better and delight your senior citizen friend with a candy assortment of days gone by. There are many Valentine’s Day flags that people hang outside their homes to show their holiday spirit.
