Fathers Day Gifts

Fathers Day presents for an elderly father or grandfather can be every bit as difficult to find as Mother’s Day presents for an elderly woman. Ah, but it can be done.

Memory Books for Dads/Grandfathers

In case you’ve never heard of a memory book, the pages are blank except for a lead question such as, “What was your favorite sport when you were growing up,” or “How did you get to school?” A memory book is a wonderful gift for a Father’s Day present as, once completed (hopefully in your elderly loved one’s own handwriting), it is a legacy for generations to come.

My Dad drove until I managed to take his keys away when he was 89. Boy, was that an issue! Anyway, prior to taking his keys, I’d given both he and Mom swivel seats which made it very easy to get into the car.
