Illuminated Light Switches Make Getting Up At Night A Little Safer
When Mom was younger and able to get around on her own, she’d frequently need to turn on the bedroom light to go to the bathroom so an illuminated light switch just made sense. It was just too hard for her to find the light switch without illumination.
An illuminated light switch has a small light in it that glows when the switch is off. So, in a dark bedroom, it will always be easy for an elderly loved one to locate the light switch.
The light switches come in all types – I’ve only shown you a few below to get you started. They’re quite inexpensive and a nice item to install in an elderly loved one’s home as a gift of safety.
These illuminated light switches come in a few different types so make sure you’re matching the switch to the use. For example, there’s a rocker switch that has 3 positions for lights with 3-way bulbs.
