Makeup Glasses Keep Mascara Where It’s Supposed To Be

Ok, I’ll admit it – by the time Mom came to live with me, she didn’t need these makeup glasses. Mom no longer worried about gussying up every day but I did and my eyesight was diminishing – at an alarming rate!.While Mom’s idea of ‘gussying up’ was putting on a fresh nightgown, I had to look good (for whom is still a question).

Regardless, these makeup glasses are a fantastic gift for an elderly woman. There’s basically two types of makeup glasses – one has 2 lenses which each flip down (or up) so you can put on makeup on the lensless eye while still seeing on the other side. The other type of makeup glasses has one lens which flips back and forth.

Either type of these makeup glasses works well enough so that you won’t look like a raccoon after carefully applying mascara – just make sure you order the right strength (they should be the same as any pair of dime store reader glasses). These specialty eye glasses are a must-have for every makeup bag, particularly for an aging woman.

These makeup mirrors are an excellent choice if your elderly loved one has a dedicated spot where she can do her makeup. The smaller magnifying mirrors are also great for travel.
