Temperature Sensitive Bathroom Faucets Give Water Temperature A Color!
A temperature sensitive faucet is an excellent safety feature not just in an elderly loved one’s bathroom, but, really in anyone’s bathroom. These very cool bathroom faucets actual provide style while serving a very real safety concern – preventing burns suffered from the elderly being exposed to water that is too hot.
Installing a temperature sensitive bathroom faucet means that your elderly loved one will know by looking at the color of the water if the water temperature is fine or not.
A temperature sensitive faucet works by displaying the water temperature as a color. Not only are they pretty groovy (….man), but, they’re also very functional. As an example of how the temperature sensitive tap works, blue water coming out of the bathroom tap means that the water is cold while flowing red water means it’s too hot. Note: in reading the reviews on Amazon.com, some of these faucets have different colors attached to the temperatures. Make sure you show your elderly loved one what color is right for that bathroom faucet or shower!
Another note: As we age, sensations in our extremities may wane. For an elderly person who may not be able to judge the temperature of the water, installing one of these LED temperature sensitive faucets could make the difference between you elderly friend stepping into the appropriate temperature bath or shower or being scalded.
These temperature sensitive bathroom faucets are excellent for every bathroom, but particularly bathrooms where safety is paramount – like for young children and senior citizens.
