Key Turners Are A Wonderful Tool For Arthritic Hands
Although my Dad was still fine to drive until he was 87, his arthritis made it difficult and sometimes painful for him to get the key into the car ignition until I found these key turners on Amazon.com. The large handle made it simple for him to turn the car on and off.
Key turners come in a few varieties. The biggest thing to watch out for is how many keys they hold as some, like the first key turners below, only hold a single key.
Also, make sure that there is room by the ignition switch to use one of these arthritis key turners – some may be too large to fit next to the steering column. That’s why I like the first Key Turner Hole-In-One shown there to the left as the position of the key handle can be adjusted as needed.
Note: Instead of a house key (which can be lost), why not install one of these Keyless Door Locks? Whenever I had to let a caregiver go, I didn’t worry about getting her or his key back; I simply deleted their code to the door lock.
Single Key Turners
These key turners only hold a single key so a car key or house key is all you get.
