Christmas Melamine Trays Bring The Holiday Spirit To Your Elderly Loved One

My own mother loved her melamine trays; I used them all day, every day to deliver her breakfast, lunch and dinner, particularly that last month when she was bedridden.

Melamine trays today are not like the serving trays of yore. These trays are very sturdy (ie, can’t be bent), most are dishwasher-safe, and unbreakable – period. I’ve dropped a melamine tray right on a tile floor and never even cracked it. I’ve even accidentally run over one with the car – sadly, the cake on the tray didn’t make it, but the tray was just fine.

Mom liked pretty melamine trays so, when the holiday season rolled around, I would search for the prettiest Christmas themed trays with which to delight her.

And, I was always successful. To date, I now own 5 beautiful trays which I bring out in November and use every day to now deliver coffee to my new husband. Mom would have approved!

Christmas Themed Melamine Trays

Spode is one of the most popular designers of Christmas mtrays, and for good reason. They’re beautiful and very high quality. Sadly, not all Spode Christmas melamine trays are dishwasher proof though – you’ll have to wash them by hand. That’s a small price to pay though for some very lovely Christmas themed trays.

These trays are also a nice way to protect that easy chair from yet another spilled cup of coffee…
