My elderly Mom loved to soak in a tub and, with the use of a bathtub caddy, she was able to soak even long because she had her Kindle and a glass of wine in there with her!

Now that Mom is gone, I’ve taken over our bamboo bathtub caddy; I love the thing.

With expandable sides (most bathroom caddies expand from somewhere around 30-42″), our bathtub tray easily spans our extra wide bathtub as well as it will a narrower tub.

I particularly like the fact that my glass of wine (plastic glasses only) slides right into the wine holder and keeps it secure.

Our caddy tray is over 6 years old now; the only issue I’ve ever had with it is that it periodically will show signs of mildew. I suppose that is natural since it’s in a wet environment almost every night. So, even though my bathtub caddy was waterproof when I bought it, it will still get some mildew with use.

Just a quick spray with Tilex clears up the mildew issue and returns my tray to its former pristine condition.

A good bathtub caddy has a collapsible metal frame which holds a tablet or a book. For a tablet, there are cutouts so that the base of the table is secure. And, need I mention a wine glass holder?

Some bathtub caddies even come with places to add a bar of soap or some toiletries.
