Face Cleaning Brushes Keep Your Elderly Loved One Buffed And Lovely!

When I was caring for my elderly Mom, Gertie, I was always looking for ways to bring ‘the spa’ to her. A face cleaning brush was my first tool to make in making her feel lovely. These soft, rotating brushes exfoliate, clear clogged poors, firm, and clean the skin in a very gentle fashion.

Facial cleansing brushes come in different brands but the styles are pretty similar – there’s a round brush that has soft bristles and usually some little rubber ‘bumpers.’ They even come with different heads you can use for men.

Add a bit of lotion to the rotating cleansing head and apply to the face.

If using a facial brush on the elderly, use lightly and slowly. Go around the face just once as elderly skin may be much more sensitive than younger skin.

Rinse with plain water. Dry with a soft towel and watch the smile on his or her face spread.
