There’s nothing worse than having to wait in an hour long line, shuffling from foot to foot.

For some seniors, like my elderly mom, this was not an option. But, with a portable seat at the ready, we were off and moving!

That’s how the Switch Stick Walking Cane entered our life. A wait of as long as 15 minutes would tax Mom but, with the Switch Stick on board, we had a seat every time she needed one.

Holding up to 220 lbs, the Switch Stick is made of a sturdy aluminum. This cane which turns into a portable seat is best for those 5 feet to 5’10” tall, which is most senior citizens.

Since it weighs just 3 lbs, it’s easy to store in the car or tote to about anywhere. Even standing room concerts are no longer off limits!

Note: my Mom was 135 lbs. I always made sure she was balanced on the seat as I had a feeling it could tip over. It never did but, better safe than sorry.
