A teak shower bench is the perfect seat for a senior citizen loved one when in the shower.

As Mom aged, I assisted her in the shower more often than not. At first, she was fine on her own as we had safety handles installed all over the walls.

But, as times changed, I found that both she and I were uncomfortable with her showering alone.

So, now, I could assist her into and out of the shower, but, for the rest? She was on her own.

That little teak bench served out 5 years of its life in our hallway shower. Now? It resides in our new home in the shower. And, yes, it is beloved.
