Quick Connect Hose Fittings May Make Gardening A Bit Easier For Our Senior Citizen Friends

How many of us have fought with, and cursed, our garden hose with accessories that never seem to screw on straight and ultimately leak?

Often times, it takes a strong hand to attach or detach accessories from the end of the hose making it that much harder for the elderly with a weaker grip, arthritis, or other medical conditions.

With quick connect sets, the hose can easily be connected to sprayers, nozzles, sprinklers, or other watering tools without having to wrench on the standard hose connection.

Lightweight Hoses Are Easier To Handle Than Heavy, Rubber Hoses

I’ve bought many of the expandable garden hoses which are very lightweight – just don’t expect them to condense back into their original size when turned off and drained. They just don’t. Still, they’re very easy to handle and are perfect for the elderly.
